The Lodge at Vail. 174 East Gore Creek Drive, Vail, CO 81657. The Lodge is situated in the heart of Vail Village, directly at the base of Vail Mountain's Gondola One. The Sonnealp Hotel. 20 Vail Road, Vail, Colorado 81657. One of the best hotels in Vail. Located slightly further from your starting point, but a great brisk walk - or quick shuttle to the lifts. Group rate starts at $935/night for a junior suite with fireplace (plus $40/night resort fee). The Gravity Haus Hotel. A 22-room, boutique hotel located in the heart of Vail Village near Gondola One, offering premium lodging, coworking spaces, and a social club for adventurers.
