Your support makes Olympic dreams come true as it has for many of the ski pros of the past, present, and future who participate in DISC events. Our pros join us again this year to ignite the fire of competition and the spirit of the sport we all love.

U.S. Ski & Snowboard is a world-class sports organization which provides opportunities for athletes in the most exciting Olympic action sports. Developed to prepare U.S. athletes for national and international competition, U.S. Ski & Snowboard provides structure for competitive skiing and snowboarding. From grassroots programs to governance of sport, management of rules, competitions, and athletic rankings, U.S. Ski & Snowboard oversees athletic pipelines for development in the sports. With a vision to make the USA the best in the world in Olympic skiing and snowboarding, U.S. Ski & Snowboard provides leadership and direction for tens of thousands of young skiers and snowboarders who share an Olympic dream.

What money does for the team

The U.S. Ski & Snowboard Foundation is the non-profit fundraising arm of U.S. Ski & Snowboard. Incorporated in 1964 as a 501(c) (3) not-for- profit organization, the Foundation raises money to support year-round athlete training, development, competition and educational needs.

Donations to the Team go directly to support the vision of U.S. Ski & Snowboard and its mission to provide strong leadership that establishes and supports athletic excellence.

U.S. Ski & Snowboard spends between $1 million and $2 million per athlete over the course of an athlete’s career - most of it before they ever reach the podium. No athlete becomes an Olympian on their own. It requires a network of dedicated coaches, teammates and supporters. U.S. Ski & Snowboard has a proud tradition of being supported by funding from generous Americans. This extraordinary tradition is shared with few countries in the world. Just like every second, every step, and every shot counts in the Olympics, so does every contribution to our team.
