WEDNESDAY, MARCH 2

11:30 - Meet in the Madeline lobby for (optional) lunch and Chalk Talk with Olympic racing legend, Otto Tschudi. Race Clinic & Free Skiing with Otto and the pros to follow (12:30 pm at the Gondola) Early arrivals pre-ordered lift tickets will be hotel front desk.

3:00 - 6:00 p.m. Registration & Welcome Reception at the Madeline Hotel
Register and enjoy a cocktail and snacks at our host hotel, The Madeline. At
registration, you will complete your race consent forms, pick up your gift bag,
lift ticket, and credentials.  

6:00 - 10:00 p.m. Reception at The Madeline Hotel, M Club
Meet Bode Miller & Tiger Shaw, Cocktails, Dinner, DJ & Dancing

THURSDAY, MARCH 3

8:45 a.m. First-Time DISC Racers Time Trials, meet at base of the Gondola All first-time DISC racer attendees will meet the pros at the base of the Gondola. You will join them on mountain for a brief inspection of the racecourse and a warm-up run before your time trials. Newbies will be asked to race at least 3 time trial runs on the course on Thursday morning. Time trials are mandatory and allow us to establish your handicap. Ski your best and have fun.

9:30 a.m.  Pro Dash For Cash Competition hill.

10:30 a.m. Returning DISC Racers Inspection and Time Trials Returning racers who wish to inspect the course must be on the racecourse before 9:30 a.m. to inspect. All returning racers will be asked for 2 time-trial runs.

10:30 a.m. Bode will run course and set the time to beat!

Noon - 1:30 p.m. Lunch at The Great Room at the top of the Gondola below Allreds.

1:30 p.m. Free Skiing with the Pros, Bode Miller & Tiger Shaw to Meet & Ski with Telluride Ski Club Kids and DISC. Ski and practice with your friends, pros, and competition. You will have the opportunity to ski with those you are likely to race against the rest of the week. Our phenomenal pros will provide you with tours of the mountain, coach you on running the practice course, and coach you on racing starts out of our pro-style gates.

2:00 - 4:30 p.m. DISC Board Meeting Hotel Madeline M Club - Board Only

3:30 - 5:30 p.m. Après Ski Wine & Cheese at Telluride Sports & Neve in Mountain Village Gondola Plaza - 562 Mountain Village Blvd., 970-728-8944, Please join us at our host ski shop, Telluride Sports, and have your skis tuned for fierce competition while browsing the store and enjoying a little wine and cheese. DISC participants will receive a discount off tuning and ski rentals. NOTE: We recommend that you reserve rental equipment in advance athttps://www.rentskis.com/#!/groups/Directors.

6:00 - 11:00 p.m. U.S. Ski Team Benefit with Bode Miller & Tiger Shaw, Peaks Resort & Spa The Peaks Resort - 136 Country Club Drive, 970-728-6200, Cocktails & hors d’oeuvres, team naming, silent suction, dinner, live auction, DJ and dancing.

When you arrive at the reception, you will receive your team assignment and meet the competition. You will then join your new teammates at a team table for dinner. At that point, let the games begin! We start the festivities with our Calcutta auction. Each team will purchase itself for $4,500 (this is an amount shared evenly among the 9 nonpro team members).

Calcutta bets are in addition to your entrance cost. After reviewing the days’ time trial results, teams will be given the chance to bid on their pro of choice. Following the Calcutta auction of the pros, we will begin our live auction portion. You will also have a chance to support our charitable partner with your silent auction bids. Proceeds of the 3 auctions will benefit the US Ski & Snowboard Team Foundation (USSA).

FRIDAY, MARCH 6TH

9:00 a.m. Tuned ski pick up at Telluride Sports or the Ski Concierge at the Madeline Hotel.

9:45 a.m. - Noon MORNING RACES

11:45 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Lunch at The Great Room at the top of the Gondola below Allreds.

1:00 - 3:00 p.m. AFTERNOON RACES 1:00 p.m. race photos at race start.

4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Shopping in downtown Telluride with DISC discounts at select stores. See maps in welcome bags.

6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Cocktail Reception at The New Sheridan Hotel, Historic Bar Take Gondola to downtown Telluride, 231 W. Colorado Ave., 970-728-4351

7:00 - 11:00 p.m. BBQ Dinner & Concert at The Sheridan Opera House 112 N. Oak St., featuring The Monophonics!  Midnight is last Gondola ride to Mtn. Village.

SATURDAY, MARCH 7

8:30 a.m.  Tuned ski pick up at Telluride Sports or the Ski Concierge at the Madeline Hotel.

9:00 a.m.  Racecourse Inspection

9:45 a.m. - Noon Morning Races (non-skiers can walk to finish from base)

11:45 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Lunch at The Great Room at the top of the Gondola below Allreds.

1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Afternoon Races

3:30 - 5:30 p.m. Après Ski Pool Party at The Madeline Hotel  The Madeline Hotel Pool Area, Join us after all the races….that’s when the real celebrations start! Wear your robes or preferred après attire and join us for wet-bar cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

6:00 - 11:30 p.m. Awards & Tequila Party at Gorrano Ranch via open air Snow Cats Cocktail Reception, Tequila, awards, dinner, DJ & dancing. Meet at 6:00 pm at the base of Lift 4 in Mountain Village by Gondola - Channel your best David Bowie & 80’s themed attire!

Situated mid-mountain on the Misty Maiden run, Gorrono Ranch is a private mountain lodge exuding rustic elegance, its large stone fireplaces crackling a warm welcome.  Guests are transported up the mounta in in snowcatdrawn sleighs, winding through spruce forest, with the majestic San Juan Mountains illuminated by a star-filled sky.

Announcing Calcutta victors! The top 3 point-scoring teams will take the spoils with award prizes and money.
Be prepared to compete for the coveted Untamed Spirit Award!
